Beef Mechado !| Mechadong Baka

Beef Mechado is the Filipino version of Beef Stew. Serve with steamed rice.

Ingredients :

1 1/2 kilos of Beef Chunks
1/2 cup of soy sauce
1/8 cup lemon juice
ground black pepper
3 tbsp cooking oil
2 potatoes
1 carrot
3 bay leaves
1 medium size onion
2-3 cloves of garlic minced
2 tomatoes
1 tablespoon fish sauce (optional)
200 grams tomato sauce
3 tablespoon tomato paste
2 cups beef broth
1 red bell pepper
Salt and Pepper to Taste
