Polaris RZR XP 1000 | Common Problems, Noise Troubleshooting & Component Overview

Lance Mechanics here—and in this video, I’m taking you through my 2017 Polaris RZR XP 1000. I’ve owned this beast for nearly 8 years and it’s still kicking... but it’s making some suspicious noises, and like most Polaris machines—it’s got some quirks.

If you’re new to off-roading or just bought a used RZR, I go over key components, common weak points, and design flaws that every owner should know. We’ll also dive into diagnosing drivetrain noise, checking U-joints, hanger bearings, the front differential, and other typical wear points.
