With crossings closed and infrastructure destroyed, Gaza’s survival hinges on urgent, unimpeded humanitarian access.

At least 26 Palestinians have been killed in intense overnight air attacks carried out by the Israeli army across Gaza, with the majority of the killings reported in Khan Younis, Gaza City and Jabalia.
Earlier, Israel’s military had warned starving Palestinians in Gaza against approaching roads to the US-backed aid distribution sites run by the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which will be closed for a whole day for “renovation, reorganization and efficiency improvement work”.

Israeli forces have killed at least 27 Palestinians and injured 90 more as they opened fire close to an aid distribution site in Rafah, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
The latest killings came early on Tuesday at the Flag Roundabout, near an aid hub operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

There's been a dramatic escalation of the Israeli military's targeting of Gaza City, in the north of the Strip.
Over the past two days, warplanes have bombed and destroyed at least 70 residential buildings in that city.
Entire families have been killed in some of those strikes.
Schools that were housing displaced Palestinians have also been attacked.
Gaza City was once the bustling commercial hub of the Strip. Now, entire neighborhoods are in ruins.
The Israeli army has issued forced expulsion orders for residents, with the stated aim of displacing civilians south, so it can capture and hold more land in the north.
