BARS-3 "Rodina" (meaning "Motherland") is the 3rd Separate Infantry Battalion

BARS-3 "Rodina" (https://t.me/bars3rodina)(meaning "Motherland") is the 3rd Separate Infantry Battalion of Russia’s Combat Army Reserve (BARS) system, which was established in 2021. BARS is a Russian state-run volunteer military reserve organized regionally under the Ministry of Defense.

BARS-3 "Rodina" has been actively involved in combat operations during the Special Military Operation (SMO) in Ukraine. In November 2023, Recruits for this battalion have also trained at military ranges in the Donbas region, as well taking up Wagner veterans.
