Episode 4 — “Birth Into a New Creation”
When graves crack open, the cosmos turns into a delivery room. In this midpoint of our Seven Steps to Shavuot series we’ll see how Scripture pictures resurrection as a birth—the earth itself laboring to deliver the saints, who are immediately welcomed by the Mother-City above: New Jerusalem, the woman clothed with the sun (Rev 12).

What We’ll Cover
• Creation’s Birth-Pangs
• Isa 26 :19 – “The earth will give birth to her departed.”
• Rom 8 :22-23 – All creation groans in childbirth, waiting for our adoption and redeemed bodies.

• Being “Born from Above”
• John 3 & 1 Pet 1 :3-5 – New birth through Messiah’s resurrection.
• Resurrection isn’t a reset of the old life; it’s entrance into an entirely new order.

• The Heavenly Homeland
• Heb 11 :10, 13-16 – Abraham looked for the Heavenly City whose builder is God & Heavenly country/Land (Eden).
• Phil 3 :20-21 – Our true citizenship is already registered in heaven.

• The Woman & the Child
• Rev 12 :1-6 – The radiant Woman (New Jerusalem) gives birth; the Child is caught up to God.
• The saints follow that same upward path—a preview of our own ascent.

• When City Meets Earth
• Rev 21 :1-4 – New Jerusalem descends; heaven and earth finally reunite.
• Resurrection births us upward, but the Kingdom ultimately comes downward.
