Ukraine Hits Bridge Connecting Russia With Crimea With Underwater Explosives

Ukraine attacked the Kerch bridge connecting Russia with Crimea using underwater explosives. According to Ukraine's Security Service SBU, its agents used 1,100 kilograms of explosives and "severely damaged" the bridge's pillars. The attack briefly suspended traffic on Russia’s key logistics route. The explosion marked the third such attack on the Crimean Bridge since the war started. Ukraine also struck a Russian air base in Serbia on June 1. The series of attacks comes amid peace talks in Istanbul. Moscow has rejected Kyiv’s call for an unconditional ceasefire and instead offered a partial truce in some frontline areas. However, both sides have agreed to a large-scale swap of captured soldiers and exchanged their roadmaps for peace.
