online anonymity - can it be useful?

Happy birthday to my son and a slightly earlier than planned tea break on account of being elsewhere tomorrow
Todays tea break is sort of about anonymity online.

Is anonymity a good thing and does it have the potential to teach us to interact with contet rather than creators
Don’t get me wrong – I think the personal touch is massively important its just that I think sharing ideas, especially good ones is even more important than the person presenting them to us either

Do you only watch people you like or do you make sure you at least give an ear to the opposite side?

Of course, there is so much more to this idea of anonymity, but I suppose I’m just proving we can be totally known and unknown all at the same time

Sometimes we can even fair better as an anonymised group member than we can as ourselves

Just the tip of the iceberg really and I know I’ve left a lot out – perhaps you can let me know what you think.
