AEO Or AI Engine Optimization Tips

Hey, there! Andrew Anderson, and today we're gonna be talking about AEO or AI Engine Optimization. Pretty much everybody's heard of SEO or Search Engine Optimization, but AEO is a new one. It's where you show up on AI, and we had a really good quote. AI is where people search for things. And our SEO is where people search for things, but AI gives them answers, AEO.
And to do that, there's a couple of things that you need or you won't show up if you don't have them. One, you have to have a very fast mobile website. Okay. And if you're not in the 90s on that, good luck on getting in the AI search engines. They really pride themselves or it's one of the biggest factors. It is with Google too and Bing, but even more so with AEO, on the AI search engines, 'cause they want quick answers.
And so, you can go to iQSiteSpeed.com, and it's a free test. You just put in your email and your name and it'll immediately show up. And you should be in the 80s or the 90s on your mobile site speed.
Your accessibility is the next thing that should be pegged at 100. And then you have your best practices should be pegged at 100, and then your SEO should be pegged at 100 as well. And if not, then you know, you need to contact somebody to get that done. We specialize in doing superfast websites. The other thing is your schema. Now, there's a schema which is basically, it tells the search engines and the AI engines on what your whole website's about, the services you offer, your hours, how many reviews you've gotten.
There's two ways to get that done. There's the original one which is schema.org which is very basic. It's basic but it's not. It's got a ton of info. What's happened is Google went in and tripled that about the information and the segmentation and how it's arranged, and that's what's key right now. And in fact, used to be able to get by with updating your schema once a year, maybe twice a year. Now, we update it for our clients every single week. Okay. Because things are changing that fast, and that's from Google, and everybody else has adopted it because it's a good setup.
And if you see it, it's very, it's much more thorough. It's got price range in there. It's got hours of operations, it's got list of services, it's got FAQs in there which are a big portion. Another big thing, if you don't have your FAQ sign up set up right for your business, you aren't gonna show up in AEO. You're just not going to.
And the kicker is that in May, okay, check this out, AI searches accounted for 8% of the searches out there. They jumped up to 8% which is huge. And then the other surprise, and although I've been predicting this for over a year now, Bing Itself jumped up to 12%. So 20% of all the searches now are non Google stuff and non YouTube. So, they took up 20% in one month. In just the month of May, they're up to 20%. So, you really should get on top of that if you wanna stay relevant because you could be ranking number one on Google and you could see your traffic drop in half if you're not on AEO too.

So, you can dominate your search with AEO, and if I had to put all my effort in one thing, I'd be putting it, well, SEO and AEO.
