(Description provided by General Cigar)
Macanudo is expanding its sophisticated Emissary lineup with a new cigar featuring rare tobacco grown near Bordeaux, France. The star of the release is French tobacco cultivated in the Mugron River Valley, where it is nurtured by the Atlantic sea breeze. This exceptional leaf imparts nuanced notes of salt and dark berries, delivering a refined and complex smoking experience.

Emissary France is crafted with an Ecuadorian Habano Wrapper (10-Year Aged), a USA Broadleaf Binder (10-Year Aged), and a filler blend composed of Dominican Piloto (10-Year Aged), USA Broadleaf (8-Year Aged), Brazilian Arapiraca (7-Year Aged) and French (4-Year Aged).

The Emissary series was created to showcase rare and distinctive European tobaccos, and Emissary France is no exception. Following the critically acclaimed debut of Emissary España, this latest release furthers Macanudo’s commitment to crafting cigars that highlight the elegance and depth of unique terroirs. Emissary España featured tobacco grown in Riolobos, Spain.

Matt Wilson, Senior Brand Manager for Macanudo, said, “After the success of Emissary España, we knew we had high expectations to meet. Going to France, with its incredible flavors and deep-rooted tradition of sophistication, felt like a natural next step. We were inspired by the richness and refinement that define French craftsmanship and set out to create a cigar that embodies those same qualities. Emissary France is the perfect expression of that vision, delivering an experience that is both refined and unforgettable.”

Handcrafted at HATSA, Macanudo Emissary France is a full-time release available in four vitolas. All sizes come in 16-count boxes. Emissary France will begin shipping to stores March 3, 2025.
