Resident Evil 7 - Part 2

Building tension is horror movie 101. This game is all about that, and the mechanics of the game itself lend to the tension. First person mode limits your field of view in a way other RE games haven't before, and the intentional darkness restricts you further. I did play for a few minutes on a higher brightness, but I eventually turn it back down because I wanted the intended experience the developers wanted me to have.

Also I'm playing on normal mode and I appreciated the warning at the start saying that I can't change this mid game. Allowing mid game difficulty changes produces lazy gamers who don't want to work to overcome a challenge, and encourages lazy developers who don't want to work to fine tune their games difficulty to ensure that while the game might be tough, its fair.

Also I didn't see the ghost. Even though I knew it could pop up, my heart rate was still going up during the video flash back.
