Man on the Moon (R.E.M. Cover) ONE TAKE Series

I have a significant attribute that Jim Carrey, Andy Kaufman, and I all share. This is one of my favorite REM songs and its fun to play and sing. Plus of course that connection to those men and the movie. So here is a simple cover I did in one take.

The ONE TAKE series is to challenge myself. For the longest time I have felt the intuitive push to record myself and post. Naturally I have resisted. But that nagging feeling would not go away. So I decided to keep it simple and just begin doing these one take videos of some of my favorite covers to play, plus a few originals thrown in.I never considered myself a musician or singer. That was something my friends did. Not me. For most of my life I kept it to myself, never playing in front of people. But my life through me a curveball. I am now a professional gigging musician. Color me amazed haha.
