Elon Musk: A Couple Left San Francisco After Waiting 24 Hours for a Dead Body to Be Removed

Elon Musk: I met a couple who left San Francisco after waiting 24 hours for the police to remove a dead body in front of their house.

“One couple I met, their final straw for leaving San Francisco, was they came home one night, and there was a dead body in front of their garage. They can't get their car in, they can't park their car because there's no street parking. They're like, there's a corpse in front of the garage.

They don't want to move the corpse, maybe they need to figure out why the guy died or something.

They're in a bit of a quandary because they get no place to park their car, and they feel that they shouldn't move the dead body.

They called 911 and said, there's a dead body outside our house. The 911 San Francisco says, are you in danger right now? Well, no, he's dead. We're pretty sure he's dead. And they're like, okay, we'll send someone tomorrow to pick up the body. What do you mean, tomorrow?

They're going in another house while there's a dead body right in front of their house, and it took them 24 hours or something like that to eventually pick up the body. And they're like, we're leaving.”
