As funding is being cut and threatened to cut off, we’re seeing advances in women’s medicine being affected. Women are not a minority, but yet we’re the last ones to be examined and researched with any seriousness. Funding needs to be resourced at the government level as there’s too many organizations that view medical issues that aren’t guaranteed moneymakers as nonessential for research and further study.
