Marked and Hated – Psalm 119:160–164

This song captures the reality of being singled out—not by men alone, but by the unseen realm. To be washed clean by Yahuah, to walk in His truth, is to become a target. As the psalmist says, “Rulers have persecuted me without a cause”—and this persecution often begins the moment we step away from lies and cling to the truth.
Yahuah’s children are marked. Not by ink or fame, but by His Spirit. The enemy sees this and devises schemes. Most fall flat, crushed by Yahuah’s shield. Some are allowed, not as punishment, but as training—to forge trust, obedience, and endurance.
In Psalm 119:160–164, the singer doesn’t ask to escape the world—he stands in awe of Yahuah’s Word through it. He rejoices. He praises seven times a day. He knows the truth, and he’s not letting go.
This song is for you if you've ever been targeted without cause… and yet still choose to stand.

* Psalm 119:160–164
“The sum of Your Word is truth, and all Your obedient directives are forever. Rulers have persecuted me without a cause, but at Your Word my heart stood in awe...”
* Yoḥanan (John) 17:14
“I have given them Your Word, and the world hated them because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.”
* Eph’siyim (Ephesians) 6:12
“Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies.”
* Ya’aqob (James) 1:2–4
“My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the proving of your belief works endurance. And let endurance have a perfect work, so that you be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
