Peace, peace, peace they shout, yet, simultaneously they prop up proxies with arms, arrays of lies, and manufactured facts. Photo ops abound with Euro leaders trying their woke best to look, and talk tough. The latter they do a lot of, and with it, continually ratchet up not only rhetoric, but also Russia’s realisation that while Trump may have been making the right sounds, their Euro neighbours to the west, keep on propping them up as the voodoo doll that has to be brought to a fall.

In this Blindspot we pause, for a moment, to look at the rather nerve wracking string of escalatory events that rocked both Ukraine and Russia. But, a quick summary: first, news of a Ukrainian drone swarm that aimed to compromise the security of President Putin’s helicopter over the Kursk region; second, the Russian response thereto and how Trump made it out as if he knew nothing about it; third, while all of this is happening, Russia is making more significant strides on the Ukraine battlefronts; fourth, how Merz further escalates by allowing German tech to be used by Ukraine with no distance limit to their deployment; fifth, then, on the eve of the next round of scheduled talks in Istanbul, Ukraine launches a highly complex, geographically dispersed drone attack in Russian territory by drones, launched from containers in close proximity to their targets. While that just about sums it all up, the point is, as we’ve argued before, phase 3 of WWIII is not only upon us, but is walking up towards the last rungs of the escalation ladder. From there, well, we guess, as always, it will be every man, dog, and cat for themselves. But, we also look at a recent, very important statement made by Alexander Dugin, on Taiwan, and how there is a point where a country starts a war too late, as Russia did in Ukraine according to him….

All of this, as the sides meet in Istanbul, 2 June, to continue ceasefire, or, talks about talks, about talks, discussions.
