Just realized that alternate day sugar fasting is the best of both worlds!

It occurred to me today that when I was a slender youth, a typical breakfast would be a bowl of rice crispies with skim milk and a tablespoon of cane sugar on top, a glass of orange juice, and a banana! So. Much. Sugar!

I think the new sugar diet lifestyle that Cole Robinson has been perfecting is like the best of both worlds: you get Your Whole Foods plant based days with fruit smoothies, curries and rice, and you get to enjoy your fruitarian days, because let's face it: everything tastes better when you abstain for a while! Remember that first bite of fruit after being Carnivore or Low Carb for years?

Looking back, it seems like my most healthy active years were as a child, teen, and young adult when I was consuming lots of fruit and sugar.

Now that I've experienced both dietary extremes, it seems that the ideal diet for me is somewhere in the middle and is likely Animal Based Dr Paul Saladino style. But I need to drop this initial weight to correct my metabolism, and I think Cole has found the secret code with the sugar fasting!

Also I'm down 20lbs from Jan 10th, 6 or so in the last couple weeks

I heard a lady say she has reached her ideal weight and is able to maintain it by doing some days of fruit and sugar only, and some days of eating low-fat, lean protein plus a starch, and now and then a cheat meal!
Metabolic flexibility is my ultimate goal behind weight loss!
