Israel-USA are using starvation as a weapon of war against Indigenous Palestinians in Gaza.

I traveled from New York City to Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States of America, to cover the National March in Support of Gaza and All Palestine, on April 5, 2025.

The march was organized by organizations such as The People's Forum, the Palestinian Youth Movement, and others.

Thousands of people gathered at the corner of Pennsylvania Ave NW and 3rd Street NW (near The Capitol and the White House).

After the approximately two-hour rally, thousands and thousands of people marched to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building where they demanded the freedom of Palestinian Mahmoud Khalil, other pro-Palestine students and migrants who have been "KIDNAPPED" by the Donald Trump-JD Vance administration. After the rally in front of ICE, people marched to the National Mall (near the Washington Monument) where they ended the demonstration.

The journalists of Gaza have worked tirelessly to bring the reality in Gaza to our screens. They have withstood countless attacks, threats, and systematic targeting by the occupation forces. If not for these brave journalists, billions around the world would have not have known the horrors that the occupation has inflicted onto Palestinians in Gaza throughout the past 17 months.

Journalists like Anas Al-Sharif, Hossam Shbat and Bisan Owda have served as the moral compass of Palestine. However, because of their bravery, over 200 journalists have been martyred by the occupation for attempting to shed a light on the Palestinian struggle.

We are asking you to listen to Bisan’s words again and take the streets with us on April 5th at 1 PM in Washington DC as we demand the protection of every journalist in Gaza and honor our martyrs," said the Palestinian Youth Movement before the event.
