In Revelation 5 Elohim’s Lamb opens the scroll, part 3.

The Lion of the tribe of Judah is worthy to open the scroll alone. Revelation 5 introduces Messiah’s throne, His authority, power, and worthiness to be our Savior. John declared these in this chapter.

We are witnesses the future in the present tense as a kingdom of priests. We are a kingdom of priests who enjoy ultimate victory and are reigning with Messiah reflects the portrayal of Yeshua as both King in Romans 1:3 and High Priest in Hebrews 6:20.

The song of the 24 elders and the 4 living beings praises Messiah’s work. The fact that the Lamb was slaughtered refers to Messiah’s sacrificial death on the cross, His burial, and His resurrection.

Through the blood He shed on the cross He ransomed us. Through His death our Kinsman-Redeemer Yeshua fulfilled His responsibility to redeem His people, us, from the bondage of sin and death.
