Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a choice: to help negotiate a ceasefire to no longer subject his people to the consequences of the war with Russia or continue to elevate the conflict. Choosing the latter, the Ukraine president bragged about recent drone strikes in Russian territory while much of Western Europe eggs him on. While it is logical to assume Zelenskyy is trying hard to escalate the conflict, ,but what should be asked is "why?" at the expense of his own people.
