In this video, I share another example of the index fund SPY absolutely smoking another fancy Wall Street hybrid mutual fund.

This mutual fund is a bit more "balanced" and is supposed to be suitable for those with a lower risk tolerance because it focuses a little more on income.

The problem is that the income yield is negligible compared to the share price appreciation you miss out on, not to mention you're paying higher fees for sub-par results.

Just another example of why buying simple index funds that track the market with low expense ratios is usually a better long-term investment.
