Building The Hobby Boss 1/48 Scale TBD-1 Devastator Torpedo Bomber

In this 39th model build video for the channel, we’ll construct, paint, and detail our 2nd 1/48th scale Douglas TBD-1 Devastator torpedo bomber model kit, this time from Hobby Boss – Kit #81783. During this episode we will also provide information, images, and video clips solely concerning the Devastator Torpedo Squadron 8 (VT-8) as well as some of the men from this unit.

A video remembrance at the end of this episode of all the USS Hornet VT-8 Devastator flight crews who participated in the Battle of Midway is presented.
