Rufus the Farting Dog!

We had this scruffy mutt named Rufus, a notorious farter. One evening, we’re all chilling in the living room, me, my wife, and Rufus sprawled on the couch. Suddenly, a silent-but-deadly cloud hits, like rotten eggs mixed with regret. My wife wrinkles her nose and glares at me. “Really, Tom?” she says, fanning the air. I’m like, “Babe, that wasn’t me!”
