Omnipotent Youth Society (万能青年旅店) is a critically acclaimed Chinese rock band formed in Shijiazhuang in 2002. Known for their poetic lyricism and genre-blending sound, they fuse post-rock, folk, and art-rock with traditional Chinese instruments. Their music explores themes of urbanization, disillusionment, and existential struggle in modern China.

Despite releasing only two studio albums (2010’s Omnipotent Youth Society and 2020’s Inside the Cable Temple), they’ve achieved legendary status in the Chinese indie scene. Tracks like "Kill That Shijiazhuang Man" and "Hit the City's Heart" became generational anthems for their raw portrayal of societal pressures.
