Today’s show is Part Two of our four-part series for the month of June. One of the great things about being a soldier stationed in Germany was having a passport, BrothersfromotherMothers, leave, and the time to attend open air concerts. We’d rent a camper van, go to the commissary, stock up, and head over to the “Trinken Platz” in Heidelberg and stock up on racks of beer, flavored waters, wines, and spirits. We’d also bring barter items to festivals with us. It’s so cool to be able to trade stuff with the locals and those attending Sweden Rock Festival. A little about Sweden Rock Festival, it’s been getting heavier every year and back when we attended they had some awesome bands and artists. But that was a different time, man. The 90s and early 00s. It was killer, wake up, make chow, head to the show, spend a lot of money on overpriced water and beer, including food. But…the food was awesome. We can say that.
