What even is terrorism? You hear about it almost daily, yet there's still no universally agreed-upon definition for it. This is surprising, especially when considers the immense global impact this phenomenon has.

Terrorism has unfortunately become a permanent feature of our lives. We see it in major conflicts ignited by groups like ISIS in Iraq, or the ongoing situation in Gaza following Hamas's horrific attacks on Israel on 7 October 2023. We also witness it in devastating lone wolf attacks on European streets. Almost no place has been untouched by terrorism, but we still do not know how to define it.

In this video, we will take a closer look at all of this by exploring why terrorism is so difficult to define, why this is important, and whether anything can be done to resolve the issue.
