At Least 44 Injured in Suspected Bridge Explosion Near Bryansk

At least 44 people were injured in a suspected explosion that destroyed a bridge in the Bryansk region. All of them were passengers on the train "Klimovo — Moscow," which derailed when the bridge collapsed beneath it.

UPD: Bryansk region governor Aleksandr Bogomaz on the bridge collapse:

"At this time, a traffic accident involving vehicles and a passenger train has occurred at one of the sections of the A240 federal highway.

Unfortunately, there are injured people. Emergency services and government officials are on site. Everything necessary is being done to assist the victims."
