Little bass made my day!

Bryan, my awesome neighbor, let me borrow his kayak today. I was able to fish places I normally can't get to from the bank. This little bass made my day. I had a lot of hits, but not hungry feeding strikes. I see a lot of fry that were 1"to 4" long. Water temperature is 55 degrees and the lake is very high from 5 days of rain > 4" total. The adult fish seem to be protecting the new fry spawn and just hitting the lures. I had a lot of hits but only 1 bite. It's been like this for more than a week and I'm hoping the feeding resumes soon. I'm also searching for drop-offs where the bigger bass may be hanging out.
