14-year-old charged with murder after 'random' attack on Pickering senior

Neighbours are shocked to hear of the stabbing of a beloved member of the community on Thursday afternoon. Police say a 14-year-old boy is now in custody facing first-degree murder charges in what they’re calling an unprovoked attack in Pickering, Ont.

Officers initially believed the suspect was 13 years old but later confirmed his age. Portions of the incident were captured on video as students were leaving school.
