On higher levels of consciousness, one becomes more identified with one's Divine essence, the eternal true Self, and less and less identified with the body, skin color, family, ancestry, and culture.

This is not an intellectual disidentification or mental rejection. The intellect and mind are in the way of the higher inner realization, as most people are caught in the mental realm.
This also doesn't mean or imply that one doesn't take care of one's body, family, or even nation, but there is NO IDENTIFICATION with any of it.

Your sense of self and self-value are not attached to any of that, for you have found the kingdom within.”
