Dan 7:24
'As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings.

Ten horns (powers) arise and another rises after them. This horn is Muhammad. He is different than the other ten in that he is very powerful and has ability to conquer. He started his desolation in 622 AD and continued until his death ten years later. Those caliphs ("successors" or "deputies of the prophet") carrying on his legacy by conquering the three other beasts described in this chapter. Within ten years, the Muslim Empire conquered Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Syria, and all of Mesopotamia. Within fifteen more years, the Caliphs conquered Armenia (Northern Turkey). That is, in order, the lion with two wings, the bear, and the leopard. These are the three kingdoms spoken of in this verse that were conquered by the little horn.
Together these four beasts comprise the Beast of the Muslim Empire of the last days. This is further illustrated for us in

Revelation 13:1-2. "And he stood on the sand of the seashore. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority."
This beast is also spoken of in the book of Hosea.

Hosea 13:6-9 As they had their pasture, they became satisfied, And being satisfied, their heart became proud; Therefore, they forgot Me. 7So I will be like a lion to them; Like a leopard I will lie in wait by the wayside. 8I will encounter them like a bear robbed of her cubs, And I will tear open their chests; There I will also devour them like a lioness, As a wild beast would tear them. 9It is your destruction, O Israel, That you are against Me, against your help.

In that passage in Hosea, it is clear that these nations have come against Israel as a judgment by Elohim against them.
