Autonomous trucks? Bad fucking idea of you ask me

As someone who's been driving trucks for almost 35 years, I can honestly say this is a bad idea. Not only will it take away driver's jobs, it will only benefit those who are programmers and the trucking companies themselves.
I will say this plain as day, THERE IS NOT A TRUCK DRIVER SHORTAGE, THERE NEVER HAS BEEN, THERE NEVER WILL BE, ONLY A SHORTAGE OF QUALITY DRIVERS!
