This is a song by Vernon Duke, originally composed for the 1932 musical Walk a Little Faster. The song reached its height of popularity after a recording by Count Basie in 1955, however. Some of my personal favorite recordings are by Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and of course Thelonious Monk. Enjoy!
