Senator Kennedy: Harvard’s attitude is, “We can do what we want, and we have a constitutional right to your money.”

Taxpayers fund breakthroughs, not bureaucratic bloat. If universities want independence, they can ditch federal dollars. Until then, every grant comes with strings—like ensuring funds serve national interests, not ivory tower elitism.
