South Korean scientists have built a shape-shifting liquid robot that can slide through tight metal grates, merge with others, and move across water.

It's soft but stable, coated in water-repellent particles, guided by ultrasound, and tough enough to bounce back from impact.

This was designed for disaster rescue, surveillance, and internal medical procedures, this robot mimics living cells: it divides, reforms, and adapts on command…absolutely insane!

It's the closest thing yet to programmable fluid life, and it could soon be saving lives from inside your body or deep inside a collapsed building.
