​The SNT Motiv K2S is a semi-automatic civilian variant of the South Korean K2 assault rifle, developed by SNT Motiv (formerly Daewoo Precision Industries). The original K2, adopted by the South Korean military in 1985, is a gas-operated, rotating bolt rifle chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO. SNT Motiv has announced plans to commence U.S. assembly operations in Las Vegas, with sales expected to begin by late 2025.
