This is not a tutorial! This video is for educational purposes only.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS WORK.
In this video we discuss the work in the action to get a smooth, crisp 3.5# trigger pull. We go over the dangers, pitfalls and common mistakes that can occur with making these changes to 1911's, the tools used for the job as well as the important parts to hone and adjust. This includes the mainspring fit, hammer hooks, sear spring adjustments, sear changes, and plenty more.
Often folks go straight to bending the sear spring leaf which if you do your due diligence on the other parts is often unnecessary.
