Lama Dawa Zangpo’s Commentary:
Trungpa Rinpoche had many wonderful things to say, and talking about warriorship is something that is extremely important. The notion of a warrior is someone who is fearless in terms of the sometimes overwhelming sense of the world. The world can be overwhelming. It can be filled with negativity, difficult circumstances and challenges, but Trungpa Rinpoche is telling us that if we are to act as a true warrior, if we are to be a true warrior, we will not give up. We will not lose heart. We will be confident and brave and know that we can do the right thing, that we can help other beings with our open hearts and our willingness to be present in all situations. This is wonderful advice, something we can all take to heart.
