Yeah, pretty sure I would've shat myself. And yes, I have been that closet o lightning before. I've even been "indirectly hit". Ball of fire hit my back yard back in 2000, and it literally knocked me out for a few seconds and I came to smelling my scanner burning, so I unplugged everything, ran to the front of the house to check on my daughter and she was crawling out of her room because it came in through the outlet and went up her legs and she couldn't feel them! ACK! Yeah, scary stuff. We're both ok.
