Scanning Plock with RGB cameraWe conducted mobile laser scanning in Plock, enhancing it with an RGB camera. With this technology, we obtained a point cloud in visible colors, which significantly facilitates the interpretation of objects and details in the 3D model.
We scanned more than 6 kilometers of road in 2 directions in less than 24 minutes, and despite increasing the speed to 20 km/h, the model maintained excellent geometry, meeting the high requirements for further studies. Adding an RGB camera is an additional procedure that requires more time, but the results speak for themselves - better data visualization.
