Michael Edwards composed this song in 1937, contributing his only hit to the jazz landscape of the thirties. Every other song of his has faded into obscurity, which is always a shame, understanding that there is lost art. Nevertheless, as this one hit wonder's one hit, "Once in a While" has stood the test of time. Enjoy!
