Episode 183 - The Malcolm X Assassination (Part XIII)

Though it's admittedly circumstantial evidence, the FBI cover-up of all things related to the murder of Malcolm X is evidence nonetheless - of its complicity in the assassination itself and its role in the post-assassination investigation (cover-up).

Like the Kennedy assassination(s), the Fred Hampton and the MLK assassinations, it is not coincidental that the agency most responsible for covering up, withholding, and manufacturing evidence is usually the agency most responsible for the crime itself. In the Kennedy cases, that agency was the CIA. In the Hampton, Malcolm X, and MLK cases, that agency was the FBI.

It took Americans until the seventies to discover that during this time period, the CIA had two assassination programs (Executive Action and ZR/RIFLE) while the FBI was intent on knee-capping the civil rights movement by discrediting civil rights leaders and their organizations with its own operation called COINTELPRO - an operation that, according to its own documents included tactics ranging from surveillance and infiltration to assassination.

Like LBJ famously said of the government in the sixties, "We were running a god-damned Murder, Inc." Indeed, truer words have not been spoken.
