Europe: Stolen Dream and Current Challenges

Viktor Orbán: "What will happen to us? What will happen to the dream of Europeans? We also had a dream. Our European dream was about if we European peoples unite. Then there will be no more war. Then we can live in prosperity and security.

Let’s work together. The sovereign states should unite. And create the world’s safest and most developed continent. That would be the European Union, the European integration.

But friends, this dream was stolen. Brussels stole it. It derailed our future. Instead of the European dream, today we get a nightmare.

The European people do not feel safe in their own countries. In their own cities, on their own streets. Strangers have become where 20 years ago they were still at home. Simple math. They are being robbed of their cities.

This is not integration. This is organized population replacement. Instead of European prosperity, companies are going bankrupt.

We pay two to four times more for electricity and gas than in the United States. The green deal, the green transition kills our economies. It’s slowly becoming a parody.

And now? When we should be negotiating with a heavyweight American president about trade and tariffs, it turns out that we only have lightweight leaders."
