Psalms 78 – 82 – As a man goes, so will his children. 2023

Psa 78:3
Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.
Psa 78:4
We will not conceal them from their children, But tell to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, And His strength and His wondrous works that He has done.
Psa 78:5
For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should teach them to their children,
Psa 78:6
That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, That they may arise and tell them to their children,
Psa 78:7
That they should put their confidence in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments,
Psa 78:8
And not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation A generation that did not prepare its heart, And whose spirit was not faithful to God.
Duet 5:29 ‘Oh that they had such a heart in them, that they would fear Me, and keep all My commandments always, that it may be well with them and with their sons forever!
John 14:21-24 “He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him.” 22Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him. 24“He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
1 John 3:22-24 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. 23And this is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. 24And the one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And we know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
