IDAHO ... A FLY-BY STATE IN A STATE OF CONFUSION

IDAHO, “THE STATE OF CONFUSION”
It’s not a bad place to live, but it could be a whole lot better.

#1. Idaho is a small and relatively insignificant state mostly known for its “Famous Potatoes” and shameless lying governor. In this ‘fly over’ state, a “Boss Hog” governor rules with an iron hand. The occasional “Bread and Circus” bills he signs are designed to placate the ignorant.

#2. Hardly known for their blinding intellect, Idahoans are the “perfectly suited subjects” in a “Boss Hog” republic.

#3. Idahoans have long been afflicted with a state sales tax of 6% on both groceries and medications. In the face of these onerous taxes, the government enjoys record revenue every year. The governor and others in his circle revel in the income wrenched from the hands of rich and poor alike.

#4. Here’s the rub: Back in 2018 “Silver Spooner” Brad Little promised to eliminate this tax once elected. When I say "Silver Spooner", that's exactly what he is. Having been raised in the lap of affluence and even luxury, he never worried about money. His responsibilities and chances to "grow up and be a man" were hampered by generational wealth.

#5. Among his campaign he also promised to address Idaho’s sky-high property taxes. Of course, as soon as he was elected, his ‘selective amnesia’ kicked in. Isn't it amazing how one can completely forget promises that might actually require effort or cost money?

#6. Idaho’s press, like their legislature and state supreme court are scared shitless. Brad has both houses of government and the courts steering as clear of him as possible. Brad Little is not one to be trifled with and has a history of “getting even.”

#7. He’ll do whatever it takes to protect “the party” and the wealthy. The filthy-rich such as the Simplots, Micron, Albertson’s, and others keep their “Governor For Hire” in line.

#8. When asked why he does nothing about the sales tax issue he says, “Leave governance to the professionals.” This is about as ‘nose-in-the-air’ as anyone can be without getting a well-deserved beat-down.

#9. The state’s food and medication sales taxes aren’t the only problem, but are symptomatic of the iron grip the Idaho Republican Party and their stooge, Brad Little, have on the people and place of Idaho.

#10. Idaho is safe; there is very little violent crime. The air is clean and the water is pure. There is order. The same could have been said at one time about Hitler’s Germany, Mao’s China, or Castro’s Cuba.
