Rondo Grazioso

A Rondo is a piece with repetitive themes or sections, and Grazioso is Italian for 'graceful'. Ignace Joseph Pleyel, who studied under Haydn, composed this short piece. He was known for his simple, easy-to-read pieces for piano, flute, violin, cello, and many other instruments. Pleyel was a composer that, while exceedingly popular in his time, was soon forgotten as Classical music was swiftly replaced by Romantic. He knew this, and later in life transitioned to being a successful music publisher, operating "Maison Pleyel" for thirty-nine years. Enjoy!
