If God Designed the Universe, Why Isn't it Better?

Some argue the universe isn’t well-designed—it’s mostly empty, life took billions of years to arrive, and we’re doomed to be swallowed by the sun.

But maybe that objection misses the point. A long, ancient, vast cosmos can actually show us how small we are. If anything, this should humble us and draw us closer to God, not away from Him.
