A Brief Book Review of 10 Marchfield Square by Nicola Whyte.
10 Marchfield Square is a small residential square in London - a place for people to feel safe, who otherwise couldn't afford to stay in the city they call home.
Owned by the wealthy Celeste Van Duren - Celeste hand picks her tenants and offers them below market rents to give them a safe, secure and affordable environment.
All is well in the square until one tenant , Richard Glead is found murdered. The police suspect his wife Linda but Celeste isn't buying it so what should she do ?
Celeste recruits two tenants , Audrey , her cleaner and Lewis, an aspiring crime writer to track down the murderer and solve the mystery of Richard's death.
Can the amateur sleuths work together and establish , who , amongst the somewhat eccentric residents of the square is responsible?
A great debut novel from Nicola Whyte - cosy crime with a touch of class.
