Evening Ice Fishing for Big Pike and Walleye! (Allegheny Reservoir)

I had a hangover after ice fishing on Chautauqua Lake and the Bill's playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. To make matters worse I realized I had left my deeper fishing sonar on the lake and it had frozen into the ice overnight. After getting a very late start I finally got to ice fishing on the Allegheny (Kinzua) Reservoir. Despite the late start, I caught 2 big northern pike and 1 keeper walleye on tip-ups. It ended up being a decent evening of ice fishing!

Ice fishing Chautauqua Lake out of Bemus Point/Stow and the Allegheny (Kinzua) Reservoir out of Onoville Marina. Ice Fishing in Western New York and the Seneca Nation. (SNI fishing license is required to fish the tribal lands outside of the Onoville Marina.)

All we caught at Chautauqua Lake was a handful of small perch.
