Hi, I’m exploring facial bone grafting surgery for cosmetic reconstruction — specifically jaw, chin, and cheek enhancement.
These are elective procedures, but they require general anesthesia and create controlled bone trauma.

I understand that being on Plavix increases bleeding risk, so I’m asking:

Can I safely pause Plavix for 5–7 days under your supervision to undergo this surgery?
If not, is there a bridging plan (e.g., with Lovenox or heparin) that would maintain stroke protection while allowing me to proceed?
