The Igreans test fly the propulsion system for their secret CATACLYSM weapon, staying alert for a return of the saboteur.

Meanwhile, Drassik and Mezhir embark upon their secret mission to poison the Igrean food worlds.

Both species march closer to mutual annihilation.
